Our New Jersey camps, located in Teaneck and Glen Rock, offer a structured opportunity for children ages 6-16 to grow intellectually and let their creativity and imagination flourish. With a 6:1 ratio of campers to counselors, children get enough attention to develop independence and build self-confidence within a fun and safe environment.

Morning chess lessons are arranged by different levels based on skill. Our sessions focus on strategy, tactics and end-game training. Afternoon chess tournaments allow campers to put into practice what they have learned during lessons.
ICA offers more than just chess instruction that is structured to improve strategic thinking, memory and logic. We pride ourselves in giving campers the opportunity to explore interests such as Art, Math, and Athletics (our dodgeball and soccer tournaments are legendary). Our counselors excel in their respective fields and strive to fuel creativity, socialization and fun.
At ICA camps, confidence is reinforced by success at every level and in a multitude of disciplines. Our campers are encouraged to get out of their comfort zone by competing in the chess arena where sportsmanship and camaraderie are reinforced and rewarded.
